Our Finish
All dining table tops receive three coats of post-catalyzed conversion varnish. Everything else gets two. You're afforded the most protection against spills with water, nail polish remover, or alcohol.
Underside of Table Finish
Please rub your hand on the underside of our dining tables. Finished to prevent warping, and protect your garments from snagging.
Leg Levelers
No more watching your 18th century, sterling silver, cow-shaped creamer slide off your dining table.
Drawer Boxes
Ours are 5/8" solid hardwood, most of our competitor's, 1/2" or less. Our drawers are glued into drawer sides, and dovetailed front and back, compressed to form a captive drawer bottom.
Drawer Slides
Full extension, heavy duty concealed undermount hardware and glides provide smooth drawer movement and soft closing.
High Quality Bed Hardware
Our wooden bed frames connect with non-glued dowels and a heavy steel bolt anchored by an engineered nut. We supply a wrench for tightening the bolts should they loosen. Angle Iron runs the length of the rails to strengthen the rail and support the slats.
Five Slats
Each of our beds come with five wooden slats to support your mattress foundation. On queen beds three of the slats will have additional support feet. On king and california king beds all 5 slats have additional support feet.
Joinery
We use engineered dowels that absorb glue better. Some pieces incorporate mortise and tenon. Screws are used only as secondary support.
Woods
Only the choicest, kiln-dried hardwood. We don’t use particleboard or cardboard anywhere.
Lifetime Guarantee
Our promise is simple. If your furniture fails during normal household use in the lifetime of the original owner due to problems in either the workmanship or material, we’ll repair or replace it for free, with the following exceptions:
Cabinet lights, as well as all finishes are warrantied for one year; moving parts are warrantied for three years.
